We started Akili Edge because we've sat in those rooms. We've been the CFO rebuilding the same model for the third time that month. We've been the CEO waiting two days for an answer that should take two minutes.

The enterprise tools exist, but they take six months to implement and cost more than most SME finance budgets. The alternative is spreadsheets. We built the third option: a platform that gives growing businesses the financial intelligence infrastructure they actually need, at a price and complexity level that makes sense.

We're a team of finance practitioners, technologists, and operators based in the UAE. Our backgrounds span financial modelling, SaaS product development, and working inside growing businesses where the gap between the numbers and the decisions was always too wide.
